Dodge SRT vehicles are high-performing vehicles engineered by the Street & Racing Division (SRT). This specialized group focuses on creating vehicles with extreme horsepower, top-notch handling, and aggressive styling, making them suitable for boundary-pushing performance both on the track and the streets. Let’s dive into a discussion of Dodge SRT features.
Dodge Challenger SRT
The 2023 Challenger SRT came in six proficient models and offered a range of high-output engines. At the heart of the lineup was the Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine, which, in the SRT Hellcat and Hellcat Widebody, produced 717 hp and 656 lb-ft of torque. A High-Output version of the HEMI V8 generated a massive 797 hp in the SRT Hellcat Redeye model and 807 hp in the Super Stock model, enabling the Super Stock to reach 60 mph in just over 3 seconds.
Several unique performance features contributed to the Challenger SRT’s incredible capabilities. The SRT Power Chiller system used the vehicle’s air conditioning to lower intake air temperatures, resulting in cooler combustion and increased power. The Widebody configuration, either standard or available depending on the trim, expanded the vehicle’s track by 3.5 inches and allowed it to accommodate wider tires and improve grip, stability, and handling.
Dodge Charger SRT
The 2023 Charger SRT lineup offered exhilarating thrills in a full-size four-door sedan. The SRT Hellcat Widebody used the same Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 found in the Challenger, producing 717 horsepower. Similarly, the SRT Hellcat Redeye variant came with the High-Output version of the engine, enabling it to produce what was a best-in-class horsepower of 797.
Redeye models sported 20-inch carbon black wheels paired with Pirelli tires, while Widebody models used 20×11-inch wheels and extra-wide Pirelli tires. These setups enabled increased contact with the road for improved traction. Six-piston Brembo brakes provided superior stopping power. The interior of the models was designed around performance, technology, and luxury, with leather upholstery and unique SRT Performance Pages on the Uconnect touchscreen.
Dodge Durango SRT
The Durango SRT Special Editions are currently available in 2025, offering high-performance alternatives in the three-row SUV market. The SRT Hellcat model uses the 710-hp Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8, which enables it to achieve 0 to 60 mph in only 3.5 seconds. This makes it the fastest three-row SUV currently available. The SRT 392 comes standard in all-wheel drive and uses a 6.4L HEMI V8 rated for 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Durango SRT models use an eight-speed automatic transmission and feature paddle shifters on the steering wheel for easy manual control. SRT badges and embroidery can be found inside and out, so no one is left in any doubt about what vehicle you’re driving. With room for six and 17 cu.ft. of cargo space, the Durango SRT models are as practical as they are fast.
